Volunteering
Despite advances in LGBT civil rights, there are few places that our LGBT seniors can receive the assistance they may desperately need and surely deserve.
Some LGBT seniors still avoid seeking needed services and financial help out of shame or fear of discrimination.
Emerald City Foundation is honored to be able to “giveback to those who paved the way.” Emerald City Foundation exists to serve the LGBT seniors in our community.
I feel very fortunate to be in a position to participate, and I welcome you to join us in this exciting and worthy endeavor!
